Entertainers Headshot FAQs
How do I make an appointment?
There are a couple of ways – you can email me or call – check my contact page for the details. It’s always best to set up your shoot as much advance notice as possible. I will try to accomodate your schedule as much as possible, but my schedule fills.
Where are you located?
I’m right downtown, on Pine Street, near Orange Ave, There’s a great parking garage across the street, and I validate!
What are your hours?
I work by appointment, so don’t expect to just drop in wink. Since a lot of Entertainer’s Headshots are done with natural light, we’re limited to daylight hours, and early or later work the best, when the sun is a bit lower. Having said that, I have a studio, so we can always shoot indoors as well. I am available many weekends, but only in the morning. I like spending time with my family…
How much time does the shoot take?
Generally, you should expect to spend around 60 – 90 minutes with your shoot. Consultation, Shooting, Image Review, and more.
Do you shoot indoors or outdoors?
We can shoot either way. The vast majority of my Entertainer’s Headshots are done with natural light, outside within a block or two of the studio.
What should I wear?
Think about what looks good (colors & necklines) on you, and what is comfortable. The headshots we take should be a true representation of who you are, or who you want to be.

  • Don’t be too dressy or too casual, Casting Pros should be able to imagine you in a number of roles – If you wear a suit, it may be hard to imagine you as a surfer.
  • Bring age-appropriate clothes.
  • Solid colors usually work best since they won’t distract. Remember, the photo is about you, and not your clothes. Personally, I think everybody looks great in a black t-shirt, but kids may be best served in brighter colors.

At the end of the day, If you think you might want it, bring it – I believe that it’s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Do I need Makeup?
I don’t provide those services, so if you think you need it, plan ahead. However – hopefully, you’ve chosen me for your Headshots because you like my style, which I consider to be pretty natural, meaning nominal makeup, and non-shellacked hair. I’ll be able to retouch your blemishes and other things that makeup traditionally cures, so no need to go overboard. You should look like you. Having said that, if you want to have your hair & makeup done, be my guest – but please just keep it simple and natural looking. It’s also a good idea to bring your own brush or comb.
How long does it take to get my Photos?
Your Proof Gallery will be up a couple of hours after the shoot, and then all the hi-res images are available for download within 24 hours of our shoot, often times faster than that.
How many photos do we take?
There’s no set amount – we shoot until you have enough great images that you’re happy with. It could be 150 shots or it could be 450 or more!
How do I pay you?
Payment is due on the day of the shoot, and all major kinds are accepted – cash, checks, and credit cards. Sorry, I’m not up to speed on bitcoin yet!
How many photos are retouched?
As many as you like, but retouching beyond what is included in your package is an extra cost.

Business Headshot FAQs
Why Orlando Headshots?

I have more than 25 years experience photographing people. Before narrowing my focus (pun intended) to Headshots, I worked for many years as a Cruise Ship Photographer, and have also been involved in Management of various Photography businesses, working in the Tourism & Sports industries. This has given me a unique insight into the needs of Business Professionals – I know that time is money, and I won’t waste either of yours.
